It’s easy to be excited about the best fashion show in the Midwest. Fashion Week Columbus (FWC) brings together the best local talent with a headline designer to present the latest glamour, styles, and beauty.
NID Magazine was on hand to support FWC during the finale, and with their Official FWC Afterparty, featuring Donald Glaude and Evil Twin in the spacious Brewmasters Gate venue…
Brewmaster’s has an open feel, and oversized clear sliding doors on all sides that warm the atmosphere.
FWC is a non-profit organization serving as as platform to showcase local and emerging fashion designers, while providing scholarships to fashion design students.
The show this year provided a scholarship for local designer Jenny Moon who is a senior at the Columbus College of Art and Design.
So many fashionistas and elite people were present …
Hosted by 10TVs Angela An, with a special introduction by Mayor Andrew Ginther, the FWC audience was treated to a special opening performance by Ballet Met’s Attila Bongar and Jessica Brown. Of course, FWC Founder & Executive Director Tommy McClure was on hand to keep everyone entertained and informed.
By moving into Brewmaster’s Gate, FWC was able to create the ambiance and character of a prestigious runway show like Fashion Week in New York. With lovely models and delicious fashions, the seven local designers, along with headliner Adolfo Sanchez, presented an event worthy of the effort put into its creation.
And now, the designers:

Yes, this really happened.
And following the FWC Finale that night, sultry as the weather, NID Magazine brought in one of the hottest DJs on the planet, Donald Glaude, with house master Evil Twin, for the Official FWC Afterparty.
It is not often our city gets to see a show as important as the FWC Finale, and it is not often anyone in our town gets to experience as DJ as legendary as Glaude. If you were not in attendance, you missed history being made.
Of course, NID was able to capture the entire celebration for posterity, and for those yearning to see themselves at their best.
See you next year.
